In Microsoft Word, we can change view modes in the View tab. Here are some.

Print Layout mode

Print Layout > Vertical (default)

Print Layout > Vertical > Multiple Pages

Multiple-pages view¹:

Print Layout > Side to side

Side-to-side view²:

In this mode, when we click Thumbnails we will have:

Read Mode mode

We can press Esc key to exit Read Mode.

Web Layout mode

Web Layout > Split
